This week I'm reading Sixteen Brides by Stephanie Grace Whitson. It's about Civil War widows who head to Nebraska to homestead. I have a soft spot for stories of Nebraska homesteading, and I am really enjoying this one...especially since I got it free as a Kindle ebook special. :)
